Physician assistant jailed for selling $710K in painkillers Washington Post CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. — A New York physician assistant who pocketed $710,000 by illegally selling the painkiller oxycodone has been sentenced to five years in prison. Michael Troyan pleaded guilty in June to conspiring to illegally distribute the drugs.
